About
RankCost is a leaderboard of creators where the only thing that moves a position is money paid for it. Not follower count, not an algorithm, not our opinion. The price of first place is public on every board.
What this is not
Not affiliated with anyone listed. The people on these boards did not sign up, are not our clients, and in most cases have never heard of us. A listing is not an endorsement in either direction.
Not a way to pay a creator. No money reaches the people listed here. Paying $50 to put somebody at the top of Poland sends them nothing except, sometimes, some traffic.
Not a game of chance. There is no prize, no draw, no payout and no chance involved. You pay a known amount for a known position, and you can be outbid a minute later. That is the entire mechanism, and it is written out in the rules.
Not a ranking of quality. Position #1 means somebody paid the most, and nothing more.
Where the data comes from
People, countries and what they are known for come from Wikidata. Follower counts, avatars and channel links come from the platforms themselves. Ranks and payments are ours. Every profile page says when it was last checked, and links to the account it describes so you can see for yourself.
Data about real people gets things wrong. Countries especially: Wikidata records citizenship, which is not where somebody lives or which audience they speak to. If a listing is yours you can claim it and fix that yourself, or have it taken off entirely.
How it pays for itself
Boosts. There is no advertising on this site, nothing is sponsored, no listing position can be bought except through the public price shown on the board, and no data is sold.
